That's a better setup than mine, which runs sweet at medium settings......could it be your Virgin connection, we always had probs with them...said we had a 5meg conn when we actually only had 1 lol

Surprised your only getting 30fps with that system ? Do you have the latest ATI drivers?
Also ,if you havn't allready then try this!

Go to "my documents" open the "BFBC 2" folder, click on settings at the bottom.

Where it say's "Dxversion=auto" Change the "Auto" to "9".
It won't look as pretty but should give you more FPS.

Close and save !

Hope that helps.

you can also turn bloom off , its not a setting you can access through the game you need to edit the settings.ini which is in your documents folder under BBC2 folder

use notepad to open it and edit it , just set Bloom to False

lots have had issues with the 4890 , it should run it fine but it doesnt , that said 30fps isnt too shabby , any lower can be a pain but you should be ok?

Also, have you played with your render ahead limit?

Its in the same place as the bloom in Archies post and should have "render ahead" (or something similar) =2. This is the number of frames your CPU is rendering, from what I can gather. Being that its a quad core, you could try changing it to 3 or 4?

he could mate but they set it too to 2 to reduce input lag lots were getting , and as this game is so cpu intensive unless you have an i5 or i7 id probably err on leaving it at 2 , but theres no harm experimenting
